About James

James Reeve is a London-based freelance photojournalist.  His early editorial work in portraiture and reportage has been published in Esquire, Elle, The Observer Magazine and Conde Nast Traveller, covering a wide range of stories such as American hip-hop culture in Moscow.  His own photography has lead him throughout India, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Indonesia, China, Afghanistan, and most recently, the Amazon.  Reeve has won honors from the Schweppes Portrait Prize as well as the Observer Hodge Award for his work in Afghanistan.  Under the auspices of Forum, a photojournalist collective, he has exhibited his photographs in London.
